It shows what percentage of your hemoglobin is effected with sugar. The normal levels ranges from 4 to 6 percent without diabetes and lower than 7 percent amongst diabetics. During pregnancy it must be lower than 6 percent.

Parents should be aware of normal blood glucose levels for their children so that they do not have to suffer from the bad effects of high or low blood glucose levels. Diabetics as well as normal people should maintain their blood glucose levels in the normal range so that they do not have to face the complications as a result of the high or low levels.
