signs of diabetes
nutty asked:

I just had a salad and ahi tuna salad for lunch along with a glass of ice water and now I am so drowsy. It seems that every day after lunch I am so tired and I eat healthy. Is this a sign of early diabetes?

No. It’s your body working at digesting your food.

  2. Gina D Says:

Sounds like lack of iron to me but if you are worried have your blood tested.

  3. Ronald M Says:

I hope not because I get tired after I eat also

Probably not. You eat very healthy and the chances of diabetes is slim. Excessive thirst and constant ********* are the first clues of being on the brink of diabetes. It wouldn’t hurt to get checked out. You could just be anemic.

  8. foster Says:

As a diabetic myself, I can tell you that your symptoms are not basically that of an emerging diabetic. Usually, someone in danger of becoming one has a history of diabetes in their family. It is intrinsically a hereditary disease. Some symptoms to look for are dramatic loss of weight, unusual thirst, constant urination, and dizziness. Your symptoms seem to indicate some other problem and I’d advise you to get it checked out as soon as possible.

well it probably isnt diabetes mellitus because u should always want to pee, very thristy, tired. But,unless u dont wanna mention it, u dont have the constint urnination. But check with ur doctor, u shouldnt trust the internet.

You need to get to the doctor and they will test your blood and urine. Other symtoms include increased thirst. Cold feet and/or hands. Risk factors include being overweight, family histiory, and being of Asian, Hispanic, or African-American decent.

Also sometimes it’s just bad luck. You can do everything right and still get it.

You need to see a doctor, because whether you have diabetes or not, you sound as if you have something.

no- that meal would be ideal for a diabetic anyway

well when i was diagnosed i was drinking a Lot and *********. i lost some weight too. go to a doctor and have them check it out so you can catch it early if it is diabetes

  13. psistrpsi Says:

Instead of worrying about the symptoms, get your blood sugar tested and be sure. It’s a quick test and will put your mind at ease. Either you have it and can treat it before it causes any serious problems, or you don’t have it and you can stop worrying.

  14. Steve B Says:

probably just insulin rush….many people get this..try eating smaller portions and see…..have a fasting and 2hour glucose run if continues..good luck…

  15. chris Says:

what you ate should not have raised your sugar level enough to have caused your drowseiness. so, do you have extreme thirst all the time? constantly having to urinate? if you answered no, then you probably do not have diabetes. but if it makes you feel better then go to your doctor and have him do a fasting glucose test. that’s the one where he ****** your finger puts it into a little machine and in about 6 seconds it will tell you what your glucose number is. if it is high then he might order a glucose tolerance test for you. it is an all day test. but your start is going to your doctor.

i dont think so.. just stay put and have a diet.. and dont forget to have an exercise..
